Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, is a lifetime commitment.  Anthony Robbins says, “Life is a gift; and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” After completing my undergraduate degree, it was imperative that I continue to uphold my vow of service to Alpha Kappa Alpha and I transferred to Beta Pi Omega Chapter in 2002.  I have had the pleasure of serving as Assistant Recording Secretary, Assistant Graduate Advisor, and Graduate Advisor. On the regional level, I have served as a committee chairman for the 77th South Central Regional Conference and as a Service Activity Leader for National Founders’ Day held in 2011. I have serve as Second Vice President and as Graduate Advisor to Gamma Alpha Chapter at Philander Smith College. After years of an accounting career, I am now in the public service sector.  I am an active member of St. Matthew Church of God in Christ and enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeremy and our son, Jaxon; reading; shopping; and traveling.
