Marion Fowler Armstrong was the twelfth president of Beta Pi Omega Chapter.  Her tenure was from January 1971 – December 1974.  She was initiated in Gamma Alpha Chapter at Philander Smith College; and upon graduation in 1944, she immediately joined Beta Pi Omega after working with the chapter as an undergraduate.  She recalled that during her tenure, the Hamilton Vogue Models became the starring act at Fashionetta.  Portia Power was chairperson of the program.  Fashionetta was so successful that the total given in scholarships was raised from $100 to $1,000.  She also recalled that Beta Pi Omega chartered its first bus during her tenure.  Beta Pi Omega member Molly Vault took the lead in chartering a bus to the Denver Boule where Mary Louis Williams was installed as Regional Director.
